About Me

Lynn Jaffee is  a licensed acupuncturist and the author of the book, Simple Steps: The Chinese Way to Better Health, a clear and concise explanation of Chinese medicine for the lay person.  She is co-author of the book, The BodyWise Woman, a personal health manual for physically active women and girls.  Lynn has also written articles on health, acupuncture, and Chinese medicine for a number of publications, including:

As a public speaker, Lynn is committed to sharing information about acupuncture, good health, and Chinese medicine. She has addressed a wide variety of groups on several topics, including: 

  • The City of St. Louis Park on aging well.
  • The College of St. Catherine (class) on alternative approaches to nutrition.
  • Hopkins High School on acupuncture and Chinese medicine.
  • Lakewinds Natural Foods on healing strategies using Chinese medicine.

  • Book clubs, fundraisers, and private events on topics relating to acupuncture and Chinese medicine.

As a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.), Lynn practices at Acupuncture in the Park, in St. Louis Park, MN.  Her areas of special interest are in treating people with emotional/psychological conditions, such as stress, anxiety, and depression, as well as women with hormonal issues, including PMS and menopause symptoms.  Lynn holds a masters degree in Oriental Medicine and is a nationally credentialed (NCCAOM) Chinese herbalist.  Lynn is also certified in the Mei Zen method of cosmetic acupuncture for facial rejuvenation.
